What businesses want to know before starting
Getting started
Do I need to switch email providers?
No. You connect your existing Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or iCloud mailbox. Sent emails end up in its “Sent” folder as usual.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes: connect your mailbox, add company details and logo, done. In the pilot we do it together with you.
Does Satas work on my phone?
Yes, in the browser on any phone, tablet and computer. You can add Satas to your home screen like an app. Updates come via Telegram if you like.
Day to day
Does Satas send anything without my knowledge?
No. Every email, quote and payment reminder needs your approval. Before that you see the check of amounts, dates and times.
Which languages does Satas support?
The app and summaries are available in German, Bulgarian, Turkish, Hungarian and Serbo-Croatian. More languages will follow as needed.
What can my staff see?
Only the projects, customers and appointments assigned to them. Money, the company mailbox and other people's mailboxes stay hidden.
E-invoicing and tax
What about e-invoicing?
Since 2025, businesses in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices from other businesses. Satas reads XRechnung and ZUGFeRD and creates your own invoices as PDFs with embedded ZUGFeRD data.
Does Satas replace my tax adviser?
No. Satas writes quotes and invoices and keeps track of deadlines. Bookkeeping, tax returns and advice stay with your tax adviser.
Does Satas work for small businesses exempt from VAT?
Yes. In your company details you set that you use the small business scheme (Kleinunternehmerregelung). Invoices then show no VAT and include the required note.
Contract
What happens after the pilot?
You decide whether to continue. If you stay, you pay 30 % less for 12 months. If not, you take all quotes and invoices with you as PDFs.
How do I cancel?
With a short email or in the settings, effective at the end of the current month.
Who is Satas for?
For the self-employed and small businesses in any industry, from tradespeople to cleaning companies to agencies. Satas is not sold to consumers.
